Receptionist – Reception

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute all operational reception tasks, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and customer service;
  • Provide personalized guest welcomes, ensuring efficient and courteous service;
  • Accurately record guest information and communicate specific needs to other departments;
  • Process and verify expenses in the system, as well as issue and manage invoices;
  • Comply with mandatory registration procedures (SEF/Border Control) and internal regulations;
  • Resolve or escalate guest complaints, ensuring appropriate follow-up;
  • Ensure a thorough and organized shift handover;
  • Support the Front Office Manager in operational and administrative tasks as requested;
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and functional reception desk;
  • Uphold the quality and service standards defined by the hotel unit.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a hotel receptionist or in a similar hospitality environment;
  • Technical training in Front Office, Tourism, or Hospitality Management;
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and IT tools (experience with HOST preferred);
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus;
  • Polished appearance and a professional demeanor;
  • Strong customer orientation and a results-driven mindset;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proactive attitude, empathy, and a strong team spirit.
