Housekeeping Manager Assistant – Housekeeping

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Housekeeper Supervisor in coordinating and supervising all housekeeping department activities;

  • Replace the Housekeeper Supervisor during absences, ensuring smooth daily operations;

  • Supervise the daily work of the housekeeping and public area teams, ensuring compliance with the property’s cleaning and quality standards;

  • Monitor and verify room cleaning, organization, and replenishment of amenities and products;

  • Organize and distribute daily tasks among room attendants and public area staff, ensuring efficient execution;

  • Plan and monitor deep cleanings and periodic maintenance interventions;

  • Control the condition of equipment and furniture, reporting any damages or repair needs;

  • Assist in stock management and in ordering cleaning and laundry supplies;

  • Ensure effective communication between shifts and departments, particularly with Front Office and Maintenance;

  • Participate in training and onboarding of new team members;

  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties in guest rooms or public areas when necessary, providing hands-on support during peak periods or staff absences;

  • Ensure compliance with the property’s hygiene, safety, and quality standards.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in the role or a similar position;

  • Education in housekeeping or hospitality management (preferred);

  • Practical knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and team management;

  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills;

  • High sense of responsibility and attention to detail;

  • Team spirit and strong communication skills;

  • Proactive attitude and results-oriented mindset;

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities;

  • Basic proficiency in English (other languages are an advantage);

  • Professional appearance, integrity, and strong work ethic.
