Kitchen Steward – Restaurant & Bar

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean tables and floors, collect used crockery for washing, remove waste, and keep the kitchen and dining areas organized;
  • Organize and clean kitchen and restaurant utensils and equipment;
  • Support the sanitation and hygiene of the restaurant kitchen;
  • Remove food waste from plates and other utensils, load and operate the dishwasher, and clean the kitchen according to chefs’ instructions;
  • Report plumbing and/or electrical malfunctions;
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies (paper towels, dishwasher detergent, napkins, etc.);
  • Set up and organize the staff dining area for breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
  • Ensure proper shift handover and communication of service-related information.

 


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred);
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and procedures;
  • Ability to operate dishwashers, coffee machines, and display units;
  • Discipline, ethical conduct, responsibility, and autonomy;
  • Internal customer-oriented mindset;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, dynamism, and proactivity.
