Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan is officially considered by Guinness World of Records to be the first hotel in history. Founded in Japan in 705, it is still in operation today.

Our name and brand are a dedication to the realm of hotels and hospitality, influenced by the year in which the Keiunkan was founded (705). Serving as a link between the past and the future, we uphold the values of foresight, perseverance, focus and reverence for the hospitality industry. ​
