Night Auditor – Reception

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the operation of the front desk during the night shift, guaranteeing continuity of service;
  • Carry out all night-time check-in and check-out procedures;
  • Perform the daily verification and closing of front desk financial operations (night audit);
  • Control and validate cash movements, postings, and daily reports;
  • Monitor the security of the premises during the shift;
  • Respond to guests’ requests and needs with efficiency and discretion;
  • Ensure a proper handover at the start of the morning shift, communicating all relevant information;
  • Collaborate with other departments in emergency situations or when required;
  • Comply with all unit procedures and standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy;
  • Maintain the reception area in good condition and well organized during the shift.

 


 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in front desk or night auditor roles;
  • Technical training in front office, tourism, or hospitality;
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial reconciliation;
  • Good knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems (HOST preferred);
  • Proficiency in English (additional languages are an asset);
  • Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion;
  • Team spirit and professionalism;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
