Maintenance Technician – Operations

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work across the various areas of the hotel (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, among others);
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the unit’s equipment and infrastructure, guaranteeing their conservation and safety;
  • Perform daily inspection rounds to identify faults and report situations requiring intervention;
  • Respond promptly to urgent repair requests in public areas, guest rooms, and technical areas;
  • Comply with preventive maintenance plans defined by management;
  • Support the coordination of external interventions, accompanying suppliers and service providers;
  • Ensure accurate recording of all maintenance work carried out, using maintenance logs and systems;
  • Guarantee the correct use and conservation of tools, materials, and equipment under their responsibility;
  • Comply with occupational health, safety, and hygiene standards in all operations;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure an efficient and safe hotel operation;
  • Support, whenever necessary, other tasks related to the proper functioning of the unit.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in the hospitality sector;
  • Technical training in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, or similar areas (preferred);
  • General knowledge of electricity, mechanics, plumbing, and carpentry;
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and organizational skills;
  • Team spirit and good communication skills;
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and urgent situations;
  • Availability to work shifts and weekends when required;
  • Strict compliance with safety standards and internal company policies;
  • Availability to work on a shift basis.
