In the heart of Porto, next to the Super Bock Arena, the 705 O’Porto Hotel 4* was established, with a hospitality concept that combines excellence, authenticity, and quality service.
We are looking to strengthen our team with professionals who are passionate about the hospitality industry, attentive to detail, and driven by the desire to create memorable experiences.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive the daily duty roster from the housekeeper and check room occupancy;
- Prepare the cart for the shift with hygiene and cleaning supplies, bedding, and bath linens;
- Check whether the bedroom doors have “Please Clean” or “Do Not Disturb” signs;
- Clean the rooms (collect trash, bedding, and towels; make the beds; vacuum; clean furniture and windows; clean the bathroom; restock towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.);
- Notify the head housekeeper which rooms have been cleaned and tidied;
- Use cleaning products properly and in accordance with safety instructions;
- Inspect equipment, safes, appliances, and furniture in the apartments and request maintenance when necessary;
- Check amenities and ensure they are restocked;
- Check kitchen supplies—ensuring there are sufficient quantities based on apartment occupancy—and restock items as needed;
- Hand over items left behind by guests to the housekeeper;
- Send and receive laundry;
- Clean and tidy the floors and common areas (reception, stairwells, restrooms, laundry room, utility rooms, etc.);
- Hand over shift and service information.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties;
- Good organizational skills;
- Empathy and customer focus;
- Compliance with procedures, rules, and standards established by the company;
- Sense of responsibility and punctuality;
- Proactivity and dynamism in performing duties;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Willingness to work shifts.
