ASSISTANT RECEPTION MANAGER – Reception

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Front Office Manager in coordinating and supervising all front desk/concierge services and activities;
  • Replace the Front Office Manager during their absence, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations;
  • Supervise the front office team during the shift, ensuring correct execution of procedures and property standards;
  • Ensure ongoing training and daily follow-up of reception staff;
  • Control and validate operational processes such as check-in, check-out, guest registration, SEF reporting, and invoicing;
  • Assist in handling guest complaints, ensuring proper follow-up and customer care;
  • Ensure effective handover of information between shifts and departments;
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, ensuring clear and efficient communication;
  • Support the preparation of schedules and shift planning;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of front office services and procedures.

 


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in the role or similar positions;
  • Training or education in hospitality/front office operations;
  • Good knowledge of hotel reservation and management systems (preferably HOST);
  • Leadership skills and ability to coordinate teams;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (other languages are an advantage);
  • Strong customer orientation and attention to detail;
  • Sense of responsibility, proactivity, and dynamism;
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Team spirit, empathy, and strong communication skills;
  • High level of accuracy and professionalism.
